Details

“Softex” PVC water stop seal provides water barrier across all joints in concrete structures by placing water stops into edges of adjacent concrete components. Water stops are essential for use in all water retaining and water excluding structures, being capable of withstanding water pressure from either internal or external face. Softex pvc water stopper profiles are made of extruded polyvinyl chloride (pvc) conforming to IS:12200 and IS:15058. Material for water stops is clean, homogenous and free from porosity and other imperfections. We make in various designs as per standard designs & customer requirements. We make upto 500 mm width stoppers for special applications.

Details

We manufacture POT PTFE BEARINGS- including fixed pot bearings, sliding guided pot bearings and free sliding pot bearing. Pot Bearing design is based on calculation of IRC: 83 (Part III)-2002. The basic elements of a Pot Bearing consists of a shallow cylinder, known as pot, an elastomeric pad known as disc, a single or set of sealing rings, piston and sliding surfaces. Masonry plates and base plates are common for the installation of pot bearings, as they allow attachment of the bearings and increase the support area on the pier and abutment. Pot bearings are fixed against all translation unless they are used with a PTFE sliding surface.

Expansion Joints: Rubber/Metallic/Fabric based/PTFE expansion joints in various sizes and designs viz. Single arch, multi arch, tapered, offset and fitted arch. Joints can be supplied with retainer rings and control units.

Bellows: We make rubberized fabric and canvas bellows tailor made to fitment design. They are used as flexible joints in vibrating systems and as cover for piston rod and other moving components. Bellows are made with/with out reinforcement in Neoprene, Silicone and natural rubber for various industries like Steel, Aluminium, Food processing and others. We also make PTFE/Graphited PTFE bellows as per customer requirements.

Expansion Bellows: Size range 80 NB to 1500NB in pressure ratings from 1 to 16 Bar

Softex Expansion Joint Filler Board is a Cross linked Closed cell Polymer. It is widely known as compressible Expansion Joint Filler Board and isflexible as well as has high compression-recovery, therefore suitable for application at places which require readily compressible low load. This filler board is nontainting and therefore suitable for use in potable water retaining and water excluding structures. It is very light weight and easy to handle and install. It can withstand severe weathering conditions and shows no sign of disintegration or degradation. It is a sheet form in semi-rigid, UV resistive, high performance laminated closed cell polyethylene foam joint filler. It is suitable for use as expansion joint filler in concrete, brick, block work and isolation joints where readily compressible low load transfer joint filler is required.

SOFTEX manufactures Industrial Polysulphide Sealants. This is a two-part Polysulphide and requires on-site mixing which cures chemically. These are available in Gun grade as per BS 4254 and pouring grade as per BS5212.
